The Ducati Desmosedici RR (where "RR" stands for Racing Replica) is not simply a road-going sport bike: it is a milestone in motorcycling history. Introduced in 2006 and produced between 2007 and 2008 in only 1,500 numbered units, it was the first true MotoGP machine homologated for road use.

It is derived directly from the Desmosedici GP6, the motorcycle on which riders competed in the 2006 world championship.
