The Ducati Desmosedici RR (where "RR" stands for Racing Replica) is not simply a road-going sport motorcycle: it is a milestone in the history of motorcycling. Introduced in 2006 and produced between 2007 and 2008 in only 1,500 numbered units , it was the first true MotoGP homologated for road use.

It derives directly from the Desmosedici GP6, the bike on which riders competed in the 2006 world championship.
