Aldo Borgonzoni (Medicina, 1913 - Bologna, 2004) – "Mondina", 1978. Oil painting on canvas board, dimensions 60x38 cm, dated 1978. Close-up portrait of a mondina wearing a white headdress and purplish clothing, rendered in cool shades of lilac and light blue. There is a signature on the front at the lower right. On the back there is the artist’s label, filled in by hand, bearing the heading "A. BORGONZONI BOLOGNA - ITALIA", the title, the year and the autograph authenticity note ("Borgonzoni"). The work is accompanied by the certificate of authenticity issued on 10 December 2008 by the Aldo Borgonzoni Archive & Study Center, signed by Arch. Giambattista Borgonzoni, bearing Archive No. AB 0266. The state of preservation is good - ref. Q4
