Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant

The plant consists of 5 Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination units with an estimated nominal capacity of 20-25 l/s, a seawater intake and pumping station, a seawater pre-treatment plant, a remineralization plant for the permeate produced by the RO modules, a system for the disposal of brine and filter backwash water from dual-media filters and, finally, a boosting station for the produced water.

As stated in the appraisal attached to the auction sheet, the asset for sale is to be considered, due to its state of preservation and age, as an asset intended mainly for material recovery/scrapping.
It is therefore specified that the plant is offered for sale in its current condition, having been out of use for years and in an evident state of deterioration.

The sale is therefore also intended for operators in the scrap/metal recovery sector, who must, in any case, at their own care and expense, carry out dismantling, handling, loading, transport and disposal/recovery activities, in compliance with current regulations.
