In this, and subsequent etching of the series, they describe the additional moves compared to bullfighting
traditional, illustrated in the previous prints. In this case it is documented another step of dexterity
which can carry the picador on horseback, one in which the bull is instigated with an instrument, the rejon. The place bullfighter
on the left instead waits to address the animal's charges by moving the hood (the cloth). To make
evident the moves illustrated Picasso chose to reduce to the presence of the public.
