The plant consists of 5 reverse osmosis (RO) desalination units with an estimated nominal capacity of 20-25 lt/s, a seawater intake and pumping station, a seawater pre-treatment plant, a remineralization plant for the permeate produced by the RO modules, a system for the disposal of brine and backwash water from the dual-media filters, and finally, a lifting station for the produced water.
For further information, please refer to the attached report.
As stated in the report attached to the auction sheet, the asset for sale should be considered, due to its state of preservation and age, as an asset primarily intended for material recovery/scrapping.
It should be noted that the plant is being sold in its current condition, having been out of use for years and in evident state of degradation.
The sale is therefore also aimed at operators in the scrap/recycling sector, who must, in any case, take care of the disassembly, handling, loading, transport, and disposal/recovery activities at their own expense, in compliance with current regulations.
