The property has been built within the urban fabric of the historic center of Civita d'Antino. The Ferrante palace and the adjacent Chapel Gentilizia of SS. Conception constitute such a significant portion of the building, to give the measure of the important social role played by the same name fami-glia in the history of the country.
Formerly the palace was surrounded by a large garden with a lookout over the valley where flows the river Liri; Today much of it has been built, and no longer appears attributable to his original plan.
