FacilityLive platform at auction: the transactional search engine
Judicial Liquidation no. 43/2023 - Court of Pavia
ASYNCHRONOUS ONLINE AUCTION PURSUANT TO ART. 25 MINISTERIAL DECREE 32/2015
Up for auction is FacilityLive, the innovative technology platform for semantic and context-aware search, developed entirely in Italy by the Startup of the same name and protected by international patents in over 40 countries.
FacilityLive enables transactional searches based on context and meaning, offering a smooth and centralized user experience.
Thanks to its microservices architecture, the technology platform at auction, entirely Made in Italy, is highly scalable, modular and integrable, ideal for reuse in data-intensive environments.
The source code – consisting of over 14 million lines of code – is split into two components (on-premise and web/cloud), providing a broad, robust technological base that can be adapted to multiple sectors:
- fintech,
- digital media,
- healthcare,
- smart city,
- generative AI.
FacilityLive is a strategic asset for those wishing to accelerate the development of AI-powered solutions, intelligent search engines or digital experience platforms.
Founded in Pavia in the early 2000s, the Startup FacilityLive grew within the Pavia technology district, with the ambition of offering a European search engine based on semantics, context and data control.
The platform has received wide institutional and international recognition, achieving milestones that are unique for an Italian company:
- Admitted in 2014 to the Elite programme of the London Stock Exchange, the first non-British company to gain access, also by way of derogation from the minimum turnover requirement
- The only European startup invited in 2015 to the European Business Summit, alongside heads of government, EU commissioners and global CEOs
- In 2017 developed the official G7 web app, in support of the institutional events of the international summit
- Spoke at the United Nations in 2018 to discuss the role of technologies in building peace: the first non-political Italian to speak in that context in the last twenty years
- Joined the European Commission’s Unicorn Group in 2021, a selected group of 35 high-potential European companies tasked with contributing to the creation of new "EU digital champions"
- Also invited to the British House of Lords to address the issue of European technological independence
In parallel, FacilityLive has started and completed vertical projects in telecommunications, culture, tourism and public administration, confirming the versatility of its technology.
