The procedure is not registered with the VIES system. VAT will therefore be due also for intra‑Community buyers.

The lots are sold as seen and liked in their current condition. An inspection is recommended.

Any adaptation of the assets to all current regulations and in particular to those concerning accident prevention, safety, as well as those relating to ecological and environmental protection and – more generally – to the regulations in force shall be the exclusive responsibility of the purchaser, who will bear all related costs, releasing the seller from any liability in this regard. Any instrumental goods that do not comply with the regulations currently in force on the matter, where included in the inventory, shall be considered as the object of the sale solely as assets "to be scrapped", with the exclusion of any liability of the Insolvency Office in the event of their use by the transferee. In particular, for any goods that do not comply with safety regulations and lack the CE marking, the successful bidder is obliged to proceed, at their own exclusive care, expense and risk, to bring them into compliance or, if this is not possible, to dispose of them in accordance with the law.
