The bull lying dead on the ground. The bullfighters look at the animal and await the decision of the public. If the killing
has in fact satisfied the crowd, the matador is rewarded with an ear of the bull or, in exceptional cases, with
both. If it also receives the tail means that the killing was considered heroic, and will go down in history
local. Picasso chose to illustrate only the exciting moment of waiting preceding the decision.
