When a matador is hooked by the bull following un'incornata talking about cogida and the header of the
bull is said derrote. The photographer David Douglas Duncan, who witnessed the work of Picasso on the tables
Bullfighting, he said that this was the single incision to have been "doctored". When
Picasso drew the matador gored by the bull, has murmured: "He made a mistake."
