Thanks to its microservices architecture, the technology platform up for auction, entirely Made in Italy, is highly scalable, modular and integrable, ideal for reuse in data-intensive environments.
The source code consisting of over 14 million lines of code is distributed across two components (local and web/cloud), providing a broad, robust technology base adaptable to multiple sectors:
- fintech,
- digital media,
- healthcare,
- smart city,
- generative AI.
FacilityLive represents a strategic asset for anyone wishing to accelerate the development of AI-powered solutions, intelligent search engines or digital experience platforms.
Born in Pavia in the early 2000s, the FacilityLive startup developed within the Pavia technology district, with the ambition of proposing a European search engine based on semantics, context and data control.
The platform has achieved broad institutional and international recognition, with milestones unique for an Italian company:
- Admitted in 2014 to the London Stock Exchange Elite programme, the first non-UK company to access it, also with a waiver from the minimum required revenue
- The only European startup invited in 2015 to the European Business Summit, alongside heads of government, EU commissioners and global CEOs
- Produced in 2017 the official G7 web app, supporting the institutional events of the international summit
- Spoke in 2018 at the United Nations, to discuss the role of technologies in peacebuilding: the first Italian non-politician to speak in that context in the last twenty years
- Joined in 2021 the European Commission's Unicorn Group, a selected group of 35 high-potential European companies tasked with contributing to the emergence of new "EU digital champions"
- Also invited to the British House of Lords to address the topic of European technological independence
In parallel, FacilityLive launched and completed vertical projects in telecommunications, culture, tourism and public administration, confirming the versatility of its technology.
